Grit & Pearl act as curators, commissioners and project managers for a broad range of public and private sector clients in the North-East, but we recognise that we have achieved our best and most rewarding work through our long-term relationships. We hold long-term contracts with West Lakes Renaissance, Sunderland City Council, Durham City Arts, South Tyneside Council and Lothian NHS Trust.
These kinds of long-term contracts allow for the development of trust and confidence; for building capacity and expertise amongst officers, councillors, communities and other stakeholders; for successes to be built upon with more adventurous and ambitious follow-ups; and most importantly it offers Grit & Pearl the chance to develop projects from the outset rather than inherit half-developed (and sometimes half-baked) ideas.
