Claire Rousell is an artist, writer and lecturer based in Newcastle. She has a BA from Rhodes University, South Africa and an MA Photography from the University of Sunderland. Alongside her creative practice, Claire teaches photography theory on a Foundation Degree. From 2005-2006 she worked for the Market Photo Workshop, a not for profit photography school in Johannesburg. She has written for and published photographs in a variety of arts publications, and exhibited her photography and installation work in South Africa and the UK.
