Rebecca has 15 years of professional experience in the visual arts sector, which since 2003 includes part-time employment with Commissions North, Arts Council England (North East). Her experience encompasses a wide range of practice and activity, including policy and strategy development, public art commissioning and project management, project evaluation and the delivery of artists’ professional development schemes. Rebecca continues to work on a part-time basis with Commissions North and the Northumberland Strategic Partnership, acting as the main point of contact on public art development in rural Northumberland. Rebecca has extensive experience of developing public art projects with a wide range of partners and clients including the National Trust, Environment Agency, NHS Trust, local authorities and the private sector. As the manager of the ACE Graduate Placement Scheme, which places Fine Art graduates within creative industries, Rebecca has a unique insight into emerging arts talent in the North East.
