Promenade
In 2009 the Grit & Pearl team worked with South Tyneside Council to examine the role of artists in the delivery of the Sea Change programme on the foreshore. As part of this work a concept by Alison Unsworth was selected that examined the historic use of panoramas.
Grit & Pearl have now been commissioned to deliver 'Promenade', which involves converting a cargo container into a mobile cinema that will showcase Alison's panomrama of the local area.
