Shine 2010

Grit & Pearl have been supporting Sunderland City Council in the project management of this wonderful event that will transform the City.

Artists including KMA, Andrew Richardson, SDNA and Daniel Brown will show how light and projections can bring vibrancy to the centre of the city and attract people to visit. A major installation by Hi Lights within the Museum & Winter Gardens, street theatre performances and major interactive installations projected onto buildings and pavements add to a spectacular event.

One thing not to miss is the City Centre Library and Arts Centre Windows where the University of Sunderland Art & Design students have delivered a series of mini commissions on the theme of the Urban Garden.
